Interestingly, the church only has a single pinnacle around the base of the spire. They were removed as they had become unsafe and there were only funds to replace the one. The others were added as funds were raised.
A postcard titled "Ross Church and Plague Cross" view of the church from pre in the 1896.
In the shot, the top of the Plague Cross is missing as it had fallen into disrepair. Then in 1896 the Plague Cross was restored back to its former state.
